When someone is interested in Invisalign, we do a consult where we will sit down with you. We will take some photos of the teeth, of your face, and just try to get all the records we need to. We will scan all of the teeth, and from there we build a custom plan for each person. We have a model that we're trying to get to of an ideal smile, and then working towards that. Takes about four weeks or so to get the trays. After that, then we bond on a couple of we call them buttons or attachments, and they go on the teeth. They're the same color as the tooth. That's the whole part of Invisalign is you don't really see everything that's on the teeth because of the same color as the teeth. The trays are see-through, and so we try to make it as low profile as possible. From there, you switch the trays out every two weeks, and everything gets guided into position until we're all done.
